Protests in Bucharest leave thirteen police officers injured after election decision
Bucharest (Romania), Mar 10 (EFE/EPA).- The riots unleashed in Bucharest after the disqualification of the candidacy of the ultra-nationalist Calin Georgescu to the presidency of Romania resulted in thirteen police officers injured, four of whom are hospitalized, Romanian police said Monday. “Four officers, victims of the attacks, (...) are hospitalized and will be interrogated,” said Octavian Dan, spokesman of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police, at the Police headquarters in Bucharest.
