Hillbrow street parade in Johannesburg celebrates local culture with vibrant performances

Johannesburg, May 24 (EFE/EPA).- Performers prepared on Saturday for the Hillbrow street parade, which celebrates the vibrant spirit of the neighborhood. This year’s theme, “Hey Hillbrow! Let's Dlala!” (where dlala means “play” in isiZulu), brought hundreds of local performers to the city streets, where they showcased their talents in a lively celebration of culture and community.
