Визит президента Франции Эмманюэля Макрона в Индонезию

Jakarta, May 28 (EFE/EPA).- On Wednesday, French President Emmanuel Macron met with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto in Jakarta to deepen cooperation on defence, energy and industry. The visit is part of Macron's tour of Southeast Asia, which also includes Vietnam and Singapore. France is a key defence partner for Indonesia, with major agreements including 42 Rafale fighter jets, submarines and radar systems. New agreements are expected to be signed during the visit, in addition to discussions on climate and global issues ahead of the United Nations Ocean Conference to be held in France.
